The Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser has been the most talked about drug-store beauty product on all social medias lately. YouTube gurus and beauty bloggers compared this product to the high-end POREfessional from Benefit Cosmetics but Maybelline’s is more affordable, even though both products are meant to minimize the appearance of pores. Benefit POREfessional product goes for $30.00 on Beneft’s website while Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser is a mere CVS $6.99 in comparison.
On the website: Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser claims: “Bye-Bye Pores! One second away from smooth, poreless skin. Insta-blur technology visibly smoothes pores away. Can be worn alone or under makeup. Non-comedogenic and fragrance-free.”
I’m always on the hunt for a good primer because there’s no use of good foundation if you don’t have a good primer that makes your skin look flawless. Once I heard about this and for the price, I had to try it. I bought mine at CVS and immediately I found the packaging and color to be eye-catching and interesting since the majority of drug-store products tend to be very neutral in packaging. I have been using this product for about two months now and I love it! The product is a silicone-like consistency and when I apply it to my face, it hydrates and makes my skin feel refreshed and soft. I wouldn’t say that it “Instantly” blurs my pores but it does minimize the majority of them and made the application of my foundation easy and the finish is matte and natural looking. I am happy with the product and I feel like I’m getting my value for the price that I’m paying. Overall, the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser is a thumbs up and I will definitely repurchase it in the future.
